The Wireless LAN Association hosted a mammoth 13-hour Pod-A-Thon on Monday in order to raise funds for a Coronavirus relief fund. The 270 registrants were treated to sessions from a “who’s who” of the wireless world. The standard of the presentations was extremely high with podcasts of all types, whilst many were serious technical presentations, attendees also had a lot of fun, with some presenters making us cry with laughter!
At the time of writing the event has raised over $4,000 for charity, an excellent effort from both presenters and attendees.
Thank you very much to all involved in the 13 hour long #wlapodathon ! We smashed the target and raised more than expected for the Coronavirus Relief Fund! The #WiFi community really is awesome 🙂
