Our History
We’ve come a long way since we were founded over 20 years ago. Setup in 1999, Open Reality was a specialist in network testing, monitoring, and optimisation. We made sure that organisations achieved their goals by successfully delivering business applications, keeping users happy and the business moving.
Then in 2006 we met Ekahau and everything changed. Ekahau were a small team of disruptors producing game changing wireless design software that was setting the fledgling wireless industry ablaze. We signed a distribution agreement with them and never looked back. Built on the success of this relationship we started to build a dedicated distribution business, and as of 2024 work with twelve leading vendors in the cellular, wireless and network performance space.

We might be smaller than broadline distributors, but it’s precisely this characteristic that enables us to provide a more personalized and attentive experience. We are proud of our close-knit team that is passionate about their work. Because our people are our biggest asset, we go to great lengths to find and recruit the best. Once on board we look after them carefully which results in an exceedingly low staff turnover, directly benefitting our customers through sales and service continuity.
